So, I don’t know if you’ve noticed but radicals seem to be engaging in an all out attempt to erase American history. Take for instance the American Museum for Natural History deciding to remove a statue of Theodore Roosevelt or protestors tearing down statues of Ulysses S. Grant and Francis Scott Key.
In other words, there are some institutions and companies that are willingly and publicly choosing to remove certain statues or images, while other statues are illegally and unlawfully being desecrated.
Some of my first thoughts are:
1) Why aren’t people afraid to break the law and deface public/private property?
2) What has happened to law and order and are these criminals going unpunished?
3) What do these companies (like the Museum for Natural History) hope to accomplish by removing statues or in the Aunt Jemima’s or Lady Antebellum case, conforming to the newest mob fad and changing their names and brand?
4) How does destroying a statue or changing a name actually help anything? What does it do? Were the statues and names oppressing people?
5) We’re erasing our history. That is the Marxist way and is the best way to control people.

I don’t know the answer to the first two questions although they do befuddle me. I know I would feel nervous to go deface public property somewhere.
Why?
Because I know it’s illegal and I might get arrested and punished! Why isn’t there a proper respect and fear of the law in these people who are breaking the law and tearing down property? Is our law enforcement simply allowing these types of behaviors? I truly do not understand this.
3) What do these companies hope to accomplish by removing statues or in the Aunt Jemima’s or Lady Antebellum case, conforming to the newest mob fad and changing their names and brand?
As for the third thought, I think the answer is ironic. These companies are conforming to the newest mob demand. They are bowing down to it and expressly stating that they won’t be a problem or interfere with the demands of the mob. Why?
Money.
Money is always the bottom line isn’t it? These companies/band/etc feel that if they do not conform, they will be characterized and seen as a symbol of hate and racism—which they believe could hurt their bottom line. Oh, they may sound virtuous and claim the change had nothing to do with money but the truth is, it has everything to do with money.
Which is ironic because they are using capitalist techniques while promoting Marxist ideals. They want their money. They want people to continue to buy from them but they are bowing down to the Marxist principle that only one idea, one perspective and one viewpoint should be allowed to stand.
Consider this quote by Stalin: “Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns. Why should we let them have ideas?”
Exactly.
4) How does destroying a statue or changing a name actually help anything? What does it do? Were the statues and names oppressing people?
Seriously, when has a statue or a picture on a bottle of syrup ever oppressed anyone? What is the goal or the rational and logical intention of changing names and destroying statues?
I’m being serious here. Let’s consider the radicals’ actions from their perspective. They believe America is systematically racist. The entire system of America is racist and all white people are racist. The police are racist and everyone in companies and businesses are racist and the system is programmed in such a way that minorities (specifically blacks) have no way to succeed. Let’s say this is true.
Is the first thing you’re going to do to solve this incredibly horrible and pervasive problem in society going to be to tear down statues?
I think not.
Consider. The WHOLE system is wrong and the first thing people fighting against the system want to do has nothing to do with the current system today but with statues that most people probably don’t even notice or know anything about?
That makes logical sense doesn’t it?
No.
Wouldn’t it make much more sense for these highly concerned individuals to go to sources of the problem, to the racist companies, to the racist white people etc?
It would. But, that’s not what is happening because there is no logic. There is no legitimate attempt to solve a legitimate problem.
And that’s just it. The claims of systematic racism are political propaganda. The Democrats and liberals are intentionally making the problems impossible to conquer. Right? The Democrats don’t want minorities to ever feel “equal”, because if they did, they wouldn’t need all of the policies the Democrats offer. So, these political elites emotionally mobilize their followers by giving them an enemy that is impossible to define and therefore impossible to defeat.
Stir up emotions of “us” versus “them” but provide no solutions and no specifics—-tearing down random statues is what you get.

George Orwell, in his famous book, 1984, said: “Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”
And destroying history is the crux of all of that I have just discussed. America, our government, our culture, our liberties and values, our rights, and our Constitution are all entrenched in our history, perhaps more so than any other country. So, it makes sense for those who want to destroy all of these aspects of America, to want to destroy our history.
And this is specific to the United States. If we want to destroy memorials to violent or problematic pasts, we would need to essentially eliminate almost every other country, all of their landmarks and statues and museums and ruins. World history is fraught with slavery, inequality and violence.
But, it’s only the United States that is being targeted by the political elites and leftist extremists. And the fact that only the U.S. is being targeted is a key indicator that the destruction of our history has nothing to do with “race” or “making people feel better by not having to see offensive statues” and everything to do with furthering a specific Marxist and political agenda that our history, culture, values and Constitution stand in the way of.
Marxists and Socialists must destroy the Constitution and any respect Americans still have for our founding if they want to introduce a new Marxist world to America. Consider this quote by Orwell: “The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”
What do you think is happening here? The more we remove our history, the more we must only look at the present. If we look only at the present we’ll never see what we used to do and where we have come from; we’ll never see how far we’ve come and how much we actually have improved and changed the world for the better. By removing our past, we remove any warnings the past might offer.
Conclusion

We cannot forget our history. We must fight to preserve it at all costs. But, remember, our statues are not our only history. Books, pictures, images, stories that our ancestors told us—these are all far more powerful historical tools than any statue.
Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to fight to preserve these things. No one can take our minds or the minds of our children. So, we must talk about our memories and our history. Share history stories on your social media platforms. Hold on to your copy of the Constitution and any history books you have. If you teach, teach real history. If you have children or grandchildren, saturate them with American history and world history. If you have any sort of public platform, remind people of quotes by our founders.
“The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting” and that is our fight. That is the fight for liberty. We must never forget.

As for the question "why don’t the vandals fear arrest & punishment?"The cops are not defending their own headquarters, they are surrendering whole swaths of American cities — You think they are going to stand their ground at the base of a statue???
We need to deploy the National Guard around all our cultural heritage sites to stop the mindless destruction. Local police departments do not have the capability — as evidenced daily in the headlines, so it is irrational to depend on cops to protect our priceless historical artifacts.
